Lean Learning

Facilitate initial Lean learning, capability analysis and opportunity scoping and program architecture across a number of Army capabilities and platforms as a precursor to a formal contractor led integrated project team intervention in those areas (such project work to be separately tendered). In particular:

·       Develop and deliver Chief of Army’s Challenge workshops and conduct initial Lean introductory workshops for identified senior and middle management (no more than one day).

·       Facilitate five day Reform Improvement Activity workshops with senior/middle level staff to, analyse the capability, identify drivers and issues and identify possible improvement opportunities

Leadership 

To design, develop and facilitate the ‘Take the Lead’ leadership development programs - the Executive Leadership Program and Foundation Leadership Program.

Role on Project:  Co-designer, consultant and facilitator for, advice on design, development and implementation of ‘Take the Lead’ leadership development program; undertake a ‘discovery’ review of the organisation to determine leadership development needs; design, development and facilitation of leadership development programs targeting senior and emerging leaders within the workshop.

Key sponsors reported a high level of engagement and learning from the program. Over 80 participants have graduated from the programs, providing stronger leadership capability across the organisation. Despite undertaking key organisational restructure and other business reforms, the organisation remains committed to the ongoing program due to the inherent benefits noted

APS Training

Conduct leadership transition programs for the Australian Public Service Commission  The programs are conducted for APS staff newly appointed to the Executive level. Designed, developed and delivered cutting-edge national leadership programs for Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research & Tertiary Education, National Archives Australia, Defence Security Authority, Civil Aviation Safety Authority, Australian Bureau of Statistics, Department of Immigration & Citizenship, Medicare Australia and the Family Court of Australia
